img 0254Gray Carr Bridgers is a photographer, educator, and former wildlife filmmaker with a passion for inspiring curiosity and creativity. Born in Wilson, NC, and now based in Boulder, CO, Gray’s journey began behind the lens at age 13 with a Pentax K1000. She graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Biology and later earned an M.Ed. in School Leadership. In her early career, she collaborated with Martin and Chris Kratt on wildlife films for children, helping lay the groundwork for what became the beloved show Zoboomafoo. Gray’s work earned her the Best Children’s Film award in 1993, and her photography has been showcased in New York galleries. Today, she combines her leadership experience in education with her passion for helping children thrive, all while remaining deeply connected to the art of storytelling and nature.
